Eurofishin’ Song Contest 2010

Chernobyl’s annual “Eurofishin’ Song Contest” was held at 4 pm PST on Friday, the 28th of May 2010.

Left to right: Chernobyl, Cern, Eacen, Corinda

It ended up being just a (very) close bunch of us, sitting on the dock, discussing the finalists in the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest as Chernobyl played the songs on the sim radio stream.  After listening to all 25 finalists, those in attendance were asked to pick a favourite.

Corinda chose Greece.  Eacen chose Serbia.  Cern was undecided.  Chernobyl chose Albania.

(And as you may or may not know, Germany ended up winning this year, with the song “Satellite”.  Congratulations to Germany!)

Of course, after listening to so much cheesy gag-worthy music, DJ Cherno Inferno cleansed our palates with some awesome music to balance things out.  Cern won L$150 for coming in first place in the fishing contest… since he was the only contestant.  Join us again next year for the Eurofishin’ Song Contest 2011!
